| Meet Jemima, our guardian Angel |
Renowned Afrikaans “Sestigers”(of the sixties) author, Chris Barnard, in 1999 summed it up
brilliantly when he sat down one day, at Jemima's, and wrote the following: "Jemima is ‘n baie spesiale
gesant van iewers vandaan waar name en adresse nie saak maak nie. |
| Our Library and serene garden |
Yes, not many Restaurants boasts with their own Library. Even more, a Library flowing onto the lawns of the most serene
outside garden. All for your entertainment and relaxation. Memories gathered over years by Pierre and Debbie
to share with you. |
| The story of Jemima's Furniture |
The furnishings too complement the consummate aura that is created by your presence in the care of
dedicated hosts. Much of the original work of craftsmen of yore has been lovingly restored to enable guests to marvel
at the masonry and stoeps |
We enjoy entertaining our visitors, and, by doing it all together, we share a special bond between
each and every one at Jemima's. We always take photos and we would like to share them with you. Who knows,
you might be in our gallery! Take a look as we add more photos. |
| Awards and other Recognitions |
You know what they all say! It is nice to receive all these Awards in regocnition of our quality and
service, but, in the end, at Jemima's we believe it is you, our dedicated customers and friends, who
make this possible. By spreading the word.
Jemima
Ethereal Jemima, whose protective wings embrace all lesser mortals.
A guardian angel of love, good taste and good cooking, who conjures poetry with figs, pomegranates,
stewed quinces and sweet potatoes.
Shy Jemima.
In the late hours of evening a mid warm conversation and joyous laughter you may be
tempted to reveal your presence?
